The
Marketing Firm Model Deconstructed
A Question and Answer Approach
The fundamental question you may have is….
What is the definition of a successful marketing firm?
There are many seemingly important activities that can be built into the
mission of a Marketing Firm, such as Team Based Selling for example, however,
the fundamental recipe for a successful organization can be boiled down
into the following seven ingredients:
1. A cohesive brand affiliation in a local market
2. A sustained focus on providing a superior offering to a highly desirable
client and prospect base
3. A strategic understanding of pre-eminent target markets
4. An investment in marketing
5. Dynamic leadership that can consistently convey a forward-thinking
and winning culture
6. An ability to negotiate and cultivate beneficial alliances
7. Specific, documented and transferable systems for implementation and
measurement.
Effective recruiting practices are also a necessary component of an advanced
marketing organization, however, if the elements above are effectively
executed, recruiting becomes an outcome of the process rather than an
ingredient in itself.
