Fashion,
Lifestyle
and Travel Writer
Jenna Gallagher brings
global wit and down-to-earth wisdom to all of her creative projects. After studying
at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and Harvard University, Jenna moved first
to New York and then to Paris to pursue her freelance writing career. In addition
to covering the Paris and Milan fashion weeks for inshop.com, a fashion shopping
web site based in New York, Jenna worked in Paris as an editorial assistant
for the anglophone magazine This City Paris. She also worked with UpwardReview.com,
a start up web site for globally-minded young professionals, contributing critiques
of Parisian hotels, restaurants and local attractions. When UpwardReview expanded
their scope, Jenna was invited to cover the London beat and to write a fictional
serial for their paid subscribers. Upon her return to Paris, she took on a marketing
project for Elle.com. In her position as an editor of Le Diet, a web-based partnership
between Elle.com and the Paris-based La Clinique du Poids, Jenna adapted the
language and attitude of the site for an American demographic.
Jenna is the current
writer for Where to Wear Paris 2002 and Where to Wear Paris 2003.
The Where to Wear shopping guide series is published by international style
icon Jill Fairchild, and has been lauded by fashion luminaries as the "little
black book" for destination shopping.
